“La Californie” is a luxury condominium grouped housing project located in Collonge-Bellerive. Amid this beautiful 5,000 m² wooded park, preserving the natural environment and promoting green forms of mobility were central concerns. Hence the choice to retain the wooded pathways, along with the main species of tree and the grassy areas to leave a large space of open ground. The entryways have been specially designed for green forms of mobility, while the plot is traversed from the Californie stadium to the Thonon road below by a footpath made of paving stones that drain away rainwater.
La Californie is built from high-quality materials and complies with stringent construction standards. Its ultra-smooth and graceful reinforced concrete structure, ventilated ceramic facades, large floor-to-ceiling triple-glazed walls, and longitudinal terraces are counterbalanced by few load-bearing structures.
With a density rating of 35 %, this 4 storey condominium building offers 13 corner apartments, ranging from studios to the 8 room penthouse, all with spacious rooms, picture windows, and large terraces. A 250 m² penthouse with a planted roof patio enjoys a breathtaking view of the harbour. The property also has an underground car park.
Heating is provided by a geothermal probe heat pump and the building has the Minergie-A certification for energy efficiency. In addition to the geothermal probes installed below, the roof is fitted with 123 photovoltaic panels and 9 solar thermal panels. Smart home automated systems are fully integrated so that the blinds, the lights, and the temperature can all be controlled from an iPad.
