Villa gigogne

Genolier

On a long plot of land in the Commune of Genolier, this project aims to build a 2-family villa on the surface of a former single-family villa, in order to optimize the use of the plot and separate it into 2 units.

The addition of a second floor provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Mont Blanc, and increases the floor area (304 m² in total) to offer 2 homes, each with 5 rooms.

The architecture of this 2-family villa is based on a wooden frame and facade with stone foundations, in compliance with the regulations in force for the chalet zone.

A single-storey villa with a shared entrance connects the 2 apartments, which also share common areas. Inside, there's a laundry room, garage and bike room; outside, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and an annex designed as a playroom close off the plot on the north side.

This 2-family villa is designed to deliver very high energy performance (THPE). It is largely self-sufficient thanks to photovoltaic and thermal solar panels, a water-to-water heat pump and a solar thermal accumulator. It is designed for MINERGIE P, MINERGIE ECO and MINERGIE A certification.
