The three buildings, of varying shapes and sizes, create a dynamic, harmonious urban landscape without imposing visual impact. The difference in levels opens up the spaces and creates new flows of air and passageways.

In response to Marly's demographic growth, the municipality has undertaken to expand its public infrastructure in the area of
"Marly cité". This area brings together a large number of people from different generations. Indeed, it is coveted by the elderly in its infrastructure (EMS), young children in its elementary school, as well as sports and culture enthusiasts in a building dedicated to sports and cultural activities. Although the available space is limited, the aim was to meet this growing demand by designing a project that highlights the heritage of the surrounding village center and public squares, while fostering an environment conducive to social life and integrating specific techniques for the extension of the EMS and elementary school, an underground link between the buildings was established, thus delimiting several distinct green spaces.

The project is divided into three separate structures:
- To the north: the planned EMS extension linked to the existing structure
- To the south: school extensions
- To the west: a building housing a sports hall and a multi-purpose room to provide a social space outside school hours.

The layout of the buildings favors open views over the various squares, with distances between structures to aerate the site. This arrangement reorganizes spaces to avoid creating a barrier to the village, and also facilitates access to the site. In this way, the site takes on the identity of a village center, marked by the central square that encourages social life by providing a meeting space, encouraging intergenerational interaction while preserving the distinction of specific outdoor spaces.

The three buildings feature a diversity of shapes and sizes, helping to create a dynamic and varied urban landscape. This architectural expression aims to harmonize the whole while avoiding the visual impact of imposing structures. The different levels of the volumes aerate the spaces, creating new air flows. The volumes create new passageways.
An underground parking lot has been built under the EMS extension and a large part of the former gymnasium. The parking lot connects to all three buildings underground. There would have been one direct entrance into the EMS and two external entrances near the elementary school and the sports hall/multipurpose hall.

The layout of the buildings creates coherent outdoor spaces, open views and easy access. The central square encourages intergenerational interaction. Diverse buildings and airy spaces create a dynamic landscape. The landscaping, with green spaces and relaxation areas, reinforces the social fabric and creates a convivial atmosphere.
